The design source for this petite Frank Lloyd Wright Freeman House Textile Block Jewelry and Trinket Box draws on Wright's method of construction, unique to his Southern California houses, known as the Textile Block System, and used in the Samuel Freeman House (1923). Individual precast concrete blocks were woven together creating an interlocking construction system. The design on this trinket box is an adaptation of this block pattern, composed of large squares and chevrons in a geometric and asymmetric design. Made of cold cast resin.
